Vivo, the company which was recently the hot topic of discussion in the smartphone industry for launching the world's first smartphone with an under display fingerprint sensor might now come up with another exciting smartphone - Vivo Xplay7.
Vivo is known to push the boundaries when it comes to smartphone internals and it is evident by the recent leaks that suggest that the company's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Vivo
Xplay7, might house a massive 10GB RAM, which, if it actually happens, will be the largest amount of RAM
ever seen on a smartphone. Apart from that, the Vivo Xplay7 is also
expected to feature a gorgeous 4K OLED display, Snapdragon's latest flagship 845 SoC, up to 512GB
storage in the premium model of Vivo Xplay7, and an under-display fingerprint sensor just like the recently announced Vivo X20 plus UD.
This information regarding the company's supposed upcoming flagship was leaked on weibo. If Vivo manages to launch such a device, then it will be the most powerful smartphone ever - purely looking at the spec sheet.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD which recently became the world's first smartphone
with an under display fingerprint sensor. Looking at the leaked images, the Vivo Xplay7 might also feature the
same Synaptics-powered fingerprint recognition technology as seen in the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
Moving on to the camera department, the leaks
reveal a dual rear camera setup. Users might also see a 4X optical zoom facility. The smartphone is
rumoured to sport a 4K OLED display with about 93 percent screen-to-body
ratio. The Vivo Xplay7 is expected to arrive in two storage variants - 256GB and
512GB - but, both the variants will have 10GB of RAM.
Manufacturers these days are pushing hard to incorporate the best possible hardware to fit in a palm-friendly design. Android OEMs like OnePlus have launched smartphones such as the OnePlus 5T which boasts of huge 8GB of RAM, but, this will be the first time for a smartphone to sport a double digit main-memory. There is no indication regarding the price but, it can be priced at around a $500.
